Case Study: Taxes
Whitaker Strategies has lobbied on behalf of a major financial services client to stop the implementation of a series of "tax-gap" proposals that would increase the IRS reporting requirements for small and medium-sized businesses. Most recently, we worked to secure an exception in the regulations for credit card purchases under a provision that would have required the withholding of a percentage of payments to federal contractors.
