If you make it, they'll fake it. Steve Whitaker has led several worldwide projects to protect the intellectual property of U.S. hi-tech manufacturers, including more than twenty trips to Asia. He and his colleagues in China work with local law enforcement to identify and shut down illegal manufacturing, distribution, and retail sources. He also works with Chinese Customs to stop the export of pirated goods, and with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to stop these items from entering the U.S.
